McConnell Foundation to Host 1st Annual “Anything Goes Killfest”

The Redding City Council is considering a proposition from the McConnell Foundation to convert the Henderson Open Space from a day park recreational area to a fenced-in Hunger Games-style anything goes killfest featuring the worst of the worst from Shasta County.

“We’re looking for the baddest, most dangerous killers,” a representative told Redding Jefferson, “because we only want the absolute worst criminals, deviants, and anyone we don’t agree with politically to be the ones fighting to the death.”

Rumors of a lottery system to select participants from the general population are unsubstantiated at this time. “It’ll be violent and bloody and people will die, and it should drastically reduce the level of violence we’re currently seeing down there.”
